Newer Systems, Different Problems
Eastmark homes are newer, and solar panel repair here tends to look different from older parts of Mesa. Instead of a worn-out string inverter, the call is often about monitoring that stopped reporting, a gateway that lost its Wi-Fi connection, or a single microinverter that failed early. The system may still be under warranty, which affects who should do what.
Check the warranty first
If your system is a few years old, find the installer paperwork. Panels and microinverters often carry long manufacturer warranties, and workmanship coverage may come from the installer. If the installer is still in business and responsive, start there. If they are not, we can diagnose the problem and, where a manufacturer warranty applies, help document the failure for a claim.
Monitoring and gateway fixes
Many microinverter systems talk to a gateway near the electrical panel, which sends data to an app. When the app goes blank, the panels are usually still working. Common causes:
- A router change or new Wi-Fi password
- The gateway lost power or was unplugged
- Communication problems between the gateway and some microinverters
- An account or login transferred incorrectly when the home sold
We reconnect the gateway, confirm every panel reports, and check that the production numbers make sense.
When a panel really is down
If one panel reports zero after the gateway is fixed, we go to the roof, test the microinverter and its connections, and replace what failed.
About Eastmark
The Eastmark Community Plan was approved by the Mesa City Council on November 3, 2008, covering 3,200 acres between Ellsworth and Signal Butte Roads, south of Elliot Road. The developer entity is DMB Mesa Proving Grounds, and the community reports that its final new home has been sold. Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, the former Williams Air Force Base, sits nearby in southeastern Mesa.
Adding panels later
Some Eastmark owners bought homes with a builder-installed system sized for a smaller household and now want more. Adding panels is a modification: it usually needs a city permit, and for SRP customers it needs a change request with drawings of the existing system. Mixing new panels with older ones also takes care, because their electrical ratings must work with the existing inverters. We check compatibility and give you a written plan before anything is ordered.
Cleaning a young system
Newer panels still collect dust. A gentle cleaning once production dips on clear days keeps a new system near its rated output.
HOA review
If your Eastmark home is governed by an association, note that Arizona's A.R.S. 33-1816 bars associations from prohibiting solar, though they can set reasonable placement rules. If you are adding panels, check with the association first. Call (602) 833-7492 with your monitoring screenshots.

Eastmark Questions
The app shows nothing, but my bill still looks low. Is my system working?
Probably. A low bill suggests the panels are producing and only the monitoring connection is down. Reconnecting the gateway usually fixes the app.
Should I call you or my installer?
If the installer is responsive and the system is under its workmanship warranty, call them first. If not, we can diagnose it and help document any manufacturer warranty claim.
